From vision to realization
In 1991 three men had a vision and started with a company as a provider in the field of PC assembling. Thanks to a consistent brand, consulting and pricing strategy, the small company became the largest owner-operated distributor in Austria. Over the years, Omega Handelsgesellschaft m.b.H. has grown by a number of other business areas, and in 2012, Omega City was even built as a separate company complex. As the largest domestic distributor in the Austrian IT market, Omega brings together all the major brands and well-known manufacturers under one roof in an area of around 10,000 m² .
Despite the meanwhile considerable size of the company, there is no corporate thinking. Short distances, flat hierarchies and fast processing are important to us. So you can be sure that a competent contact person is always personally available to you. We regard professional competence as a prerequisite for this, which is why ongoing training is also a high priority at Omega. As a result, our customers have been benefiting from top consulting services and a high level of technical know-how for over 25 years. In 2013, this success was crowned by the award of the Austrian national coat of arms. This is an award given to companies for extraordinary services to the economy. In 2019 a joint platform with ACP Holding was initiated in order to meet the company's claim "to always be one step ahead of its time and the market", to do justice to the company's philosophy and to constantly reinvent itself with a view to the future. By joining forces, Omega is now in a position to offer its customers solutions that will bring them a great deal closer to their goals not only today, but above all tomorrow.
