Welcome to Omega City.

Having consulting, sales, service and also engineering in house was a good beginning. Ensuring the rapid availability of a wide range of goods in the long term was the next step and one of the main reasons for building Omega City. Form meets functionality and above all sustainability, because a "Green City" is our ecological strategy for the future.


Omega City - focus on sustainability.

Omega City's own energy center is powered by renewable energy sources, making the entire building virtually CO2-neutral. In 2017, the construction of our own photovoltaic plant followed. This enables us to produce almost all the electricity we need for our own needs. Another important step towards "Green City", our ecological strategy for the future.

In 2017, we built our own photovoltaic system consisting of 586 modules on an area of 958.2 m².  In the average period of one year (1.7.2018 - 1.7.2019), the amount of electricity produced in-house was 149,000 kWh, which covered around 30% of our own electricity requirements. This corresponds to the reduction of an annual CO2 emission of 37t. The use of a heat pump, also powered by renewable energy, and intelligent building management help us to keep our CO2 footprint as low as possible.

Offices/Administration/Showroom

For our employees, the modern building offers advantages and functional amenities that make working even more attractive: In the upper floor areas there are bright communication and office areas, which stand for Omega's philosohy of transparency, but also for high quality. There is also a spacious showroom for product presentations and training.



Large warehouse

The central warehouse in Vienna is located on an area of 4,500 m². It enables us to keep available a range of more than 400,000 products permanently and to guarantee our customers maximum flexibility.



Logistics

The logistics & distribution area on the entire ground floor forms the basis for an uninterrupted workflow - from goods receipt at loading ramps, which also meet the requirements of modern large trucks, to goods distribution.  All ordered products are directly packed and delivered to our customers.



Location & Connection

Size allows variety and rapid availability. Equally important is the central location in the south of Vienna and especially the direct connection to the freeway. In this way we can ensure that all products are on their way to their destination in the shortest possible time.

April 2010

The modern building with a total area of 8,500 m² was completed in only 13 months. 290 tons of steel were used! During construction, equal attention was paid to functionality and the principle of sustainability.

The imposing and attractive industrial building in the 23rd district has been home to Omega offices, engineering & logistics since 01.01.2012.
